MapStorer

Abstract

MapStorer is a database-driven system for managing UMN Mapserver-projects. It allows users to edit map projects via a web browser and create Mapserver configurations files (mapfiles) on the fly.

MapStorer uses the MySQL database server to store the mapfile information and the administrative data. The graphical user interface was entirely realized with DHTML by using PHP and JavaScript.

Hardware Requirements:

1 GB RAM
60 GB Hard Disk
