Abstract
The coprocessor is designed to perform many powerful floating point operations. This frees the main
processor from performing the floating point computations while the coprocessor simultaneously
performs the numeric calculations. Besides numeric computations, coprocessors are also available for
other specific computation – inensive application areas such as signal processing, graphics, image
processing and many others. In recent times, designing coprocessors for parallel fast multiplications of
numbers has become an important field of research. Several algorithms have been developed for
multiplication of binary numbers that are easily being implemented on a VLSI chip
