Dynamic Google Remote Data Collection

Published on Sep 03, 2023

Abstract

Google defends phone data collection. Google defended the way it collects location data from Android phones. The companies' smart phones regularly transmit locations back to Google servers, respectively. Research by a security analyst this week found that an Android phone collected location data every few seconds and sent it to Google several times an hour. All location sharing on Android is opt-in by the user. Google has long defended its collection of location as helpful in providing services, such as accurate traffic maps, and its stance hasn't changed amid the recent disclosures. Data Collection utility application is for collecting Location Related Data for Manned Security Mobile Application.

Initially the data related to the Site/Location where Security Officers and Team Leaders will go for Patrolling and Tours needs to be collected. Once the data is collected, it should be synchronized with Control Center, so that it can be used later for Tours/Patrolling. A GPS receiver calculates its position by precisely timing the signals sent by GPS satellites high above the Earth. A satellite's position and pseudorange define a sphere, centered on the satellite, with radius equal to the pseudorange. The position of the receiver is somewhere on the surface of this sphere.

Thus with four satellites, the indicated position of the GPS receiver is at or near the intersection of the surfaces of four spheres. In the ideal case of no errors, the GPS receiver would be at a precise intersection of the four surfaces. A GPS receiver calculates its position by precisely timing the signals sent by GPS satellites high above the Earth. Each satellite continually transmits messages that include. The receiver uses the messages it receives to determine the transit time of each message and computes the distance to each satellite.

EXISTING SYSTEM:

Collecting data was typically performed through reassessment, checklists, rubrics, observation and anecdotal notes taken on student progress. Hard copy notes were the most typical method of collecting data.

DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM:

· High expensive

· Time taken procedures and methods

· Inconsistence data and irrelevant data

· Onsite deployment.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:

Using our mobile data collection software to instantly take a picture, illustrate something of interest; or to scan the barcodes of materials being delivered to a job site. Imagine recording audio notes and video clips and embedding them right in your electronic mobile data collection forms; or using the GPS to precisely record a location. Think about the increased speed and accuracy of reporting.

ADVANTAGES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM:

· significantly lower expenses

· time savings by not having to ship paper or to reenter data into a computer

· richer, more complete and more accurate data

· remote deployment to your workers; and in many cases

· the ability to use devices that you already own

MODULES DESCRIPTION:

Get Location Module

User login through his GMAIL account in mobile. All location sharing on Android is opt-in by the user. Google has long defended its collection of location as helpful in providing services, such as accurate traffic maps, and its stance hasn't changed amid the recent disclosures.

Set Location Module

Location’s latitude and longitude values measure and update automatically. According to accuracy application set location details. A GPS receiver calculates its position by precisely timing the signals sent by GPS satellites high above the Earth. A satellite's position and pseudorange define a sphere, centered on the satellite, with radius equal to the pseudorange. The position of the receiver is somewhere on the surface of this sphere.

Add/Remove image Module

User can add and remove required image to captured Geo data to easy identity. The Google Static Maps API lets you embed a Google Maps image on your web page without requiring JavaScript or any dynamic page loading. The Google Static Map service creates your map based on URL parameters sent through a standard HTTP request and returns the map as an image you can display on your web page.

Save Module

All update data details will store in server. All modifications can receive by Google server. The Google static map API provides a way to get the image by providing the parameters through query strings and google process these parameters and returns an image in png format by default. Google allows its maps for the web browsers only, so displaying google map image to any other thing such as PDF and printing purpose may need special license from Google.
