Maintenance of the payroll details and the preparation of the pay slip every month in an organization is a laborious, time consuming and error prone process. This process to handle by the human being leads to much complication as large number of files has to be verified manually, calculations have to be done and data have to be stored in large number of files. This process when done with the help of the computer with the required software avoids much complications, manual calculations and requires less time to generate the pay slip.

The system is developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as the front end and Oracle 8.0 as the backend for Windows 98. Using this software one can keep record of the various details of the employees of the organization and can generate their pay slip every month.

The developed software is easier and flexible to Handle. It is designed in such a manner that even a person not knowing much about the computer system can also operate it.

About the Project

Today it is the technological age and the new modes of technology is being used in almost every field. Since the evolution of computers, they have contributed a lot in each and every field, in every walk of life of a human being. Computers are largely being used to maintain Various Information Systems, TO calculate various official calculations in various organizations. etc.. Without much complexity and are performing their task efficiently, without any errors and more importantly without much human effort.

The purpose of this project work is to develop software which can handle the employee's details and produce the pay slip every month without much effort by the employees of the organization.
