The main aim of this project is to develop an embedded system for wireless secured data transmission.
By using this project we are transmitting the data between transmitter section and receiver section securely by using Zigbee technology.
Communication plays an important role in day to day life. The communication can be wired or wireless. The wireless communication is preferred over wired communication due to ease of transportability. But there may be some situations where one needs not only wireless communication but a secured wireless communication in the case of institutions, industries etc. Here is a project which enables the user to transmit data wirelessly through zigbee with security provided by encrypting the data.
In our project we have two sections; one is transmitter and another one is receiver. In this the data is transmitted from transmitter to receiver after encrypting the data. The data transmission is done through zigbee transceiver.
Encryption is the process of converting plain text to cipher text. Here plain text refers to the original data and Cipher text refers to the data that is being modified by applying some operation on the data so that only authorized person can decode it to get actual data. The process of converting the Cipher text to Plain text is called is Decryption. The data received is decrypted and is displayed on PC.
In transmitting section, zigbee transceiver transmits the serial data which is given through PC. In receiver section, reverse operation is performed after receiving the data by using zigbee transceiver. The data received is displayed on PC
Now-a-days Electronic communication plays an important role in communication subsystems. Using today's Communication technology the data transfer or chatting can be done between two or more places with wireless communication. Zigbee Technology is one of the best wireless communication technologies being used.
Zigbee is new wireless technology guided by IEEE 802.15.4 Personal Area Network standard. It is primarily designed for the wide range controlling applications and to replace the existing non-standard technologies. It currently operates in 868 MHz band at a data rate of 20Kbps in Europe, 914MHz band at 40kbps in USA , and the 2.4GHz ISM bands Worldwide at a maximum data-rate of 250kbps.
Zigbee is used to verify whether user's truncation is possible or not. One of the main advantages of this ZIGBEE communication is that it provides a noise free communication, the amount of noise added in this type of communication is very less compared to the other wireless communications
By this project we can implement a data communication system in which ZIGBEE technology can be used for the secured data transmission
