This project is developed for the users to control a Robot through voice commands like Forward, Reverse, and Weld etc. The user can control all the movements of the robot through voice.
When the user commands, the microphone receives the sound and sends to the PC. The PC generates a corresponding digital signal and sends through the serial port.
The microcontroller receives the signal through RS 232 and sends signal to the driver section. This signal is thus used to drive a corresponding relay in the external electronic circuit. The relay is used as a switch to operate the particular motor in the device. By this way the user can control any of the operations of the Robot.
The design and port programs are written in Visual Basic. The Microcontroller program is written in assembly language. The microcontroller used is PIC 16F73
